Dear CC,
I hope you enjoy the cookies. I know that cookies don't really express how much I like you and how much I owe you, but that's what I do. I make cookies. You really have helped me out so much, more than you could ever think. You can keep those books I lent you. I wish I could talk to you more, though. You're afraid to take things seriously, deflecting everything with jokes. Sometimes I wish you would talk. The only time you did was when things were in the sewers for you. I will lend you all the Russian literature you want. I will do whatever it takes.
Yr pal,
Sarah
Dear cookies,
Don't screw this up.

Sarah

Partnership
Dear Tegan,
Remember when I said we could be a pair, Tegan & Sarah, but you didn't really know who they were? I forced you to check them out, but I doubt you did. Every time we had a project together, something would come up for me and I would be out for a few days, leaving you with the whole project by yourself. I'm sorry I did that so often, but you think you'd pick a better partner. Once I saw you riding your bike and it made me want to ride with you, even though I am not that athletic and you were probably happy at the end of the day to finally be away from me. We were so half-assed together. I kind of miss that. I guess I miss a lot of little things that I didn't think about until recently when I was wondering what happened to my life. Well, Tegan, we'll always be a pair. Tegan and Sarah.

Underwear thief
Dear person who steals my underwear,
Why? Why do you do this? And why only my black underwear. I need these pairs, too, you know. Do you have a crush on me? I mean, I'm flattered, but you can just leave me a note or something. You don't have to take my underwear. That's just gross. Or are you a man who likes women's underwear and just chose to steal mine? Wouldn't you rather have pairs that haven't been worn? Honestly, there's a sale on at the Bay. Not too expensive. If I can afford them, I'm sure you can as well. So stop. Please.

Internet
Dear Internet,
This is my first letter to you. I enjoy the letter format of communication and often feel that this is the best way to express my feelings, even though they will probably never be responded to by whoever/whatever I'm writing. And my dear internet, I am addressing this first letter to you. You have changed so much about my life, for better and for much much worse. Thanks to you, I can be social without actually having to be social. Also, I can find out about everything going on in my lovely city and other lovely cities and be in the loop, as I have no cable and don't have a newspaper subscription. I read the papers I find on the subway. In conclusion, this is for you, internet, whether you like it or not.
